Cookies, kept to the few this site needs.

Which cookies this website and the services it links to may set, what each one is for, and how to say no.

Sample text for the Heelwork template, written for Heelwork Dog Training, an invented business in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before you publish, and check it against your own service agreement, booking, payment and video tools; nothing here is legal advice.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser so it can recognize it on the next page or the next visit. This page treats local storage and similar browser tools the same way as cookies.

2. Necessary cookies

A few technical cookies and storage entries let pages load, keep the program tab or log filter you picked while you browse. They don’t identify you, and the site needs them to work.

3. Analytics

This site is built and hosted on Framer, whose analytics count page views, devices and the pages people arrive from, so we know whether people read the programs or the class list. We see totals, not people.

If we add analytics or tools that use cookies, we’ll add a cookie banner first, and they’ll run only after you accept them.

4. Booking, payment and forms

The Book a consult, Reserve a spot and dog history form buttons open other websites. Their cookies, for keeping a booking, taking a payment or preventing fraud, belong to those services and are covered by their own cookie policies, not this one.

5. Video and social links

If a case page plays a session video from an outside video host, that host may set cookies when you press play. The Instagram and YouTube links open those sites in a new tab and set nothing here until you click.

6. No advertising

We don’t use advertising cookies, we don’t let ad networks track you on this site, and we don’t sell or share information about your visit.

7. How to say no

Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; programs, logs and class dates work the same without them. If this site adds a cookie banner, you can also decline there.

8. How long they last, and changes

Necessary cookies last for your visit or up to a year. Analytics data is kept by Framer for the period set in its terms. When we add or remove a service that sets cookies, this page and its date change.
